Ultrasonic Technology Overview
New: RPS-409A-IS Intrinsically Safe Ultrasonic Sensor w/ ranges from 4" to 18 feet!
This Intrinsically Safe sensor can detect presence, proximity, level
control, volume, and distance measuring in explosive and hazardous locations. It can cover ranges from 4 inches up to 18 feet, depending on
the model. This unit needs no setup adjustments or calibration. The unit has a linear output of volts per inch. The RPS-409A-IS is designed to take
advantage of today's PLC and computer analog input cards. The analog card chosen will determine the resolution of the system. The unit is encased in
PVC for chemical resistance and is rated up to IP-68/NEMA-6P. Temperature compensation comes standard with a wide temperature range of -40° to 140°F
(-40° to 60°C). If a set point or points are required one of Migatron's new SPC Controllers can be used.
New: RPS-412A High Accuracy Ultrasonic Sensor (+/-0.002")
Migatron introduces a new high accuracy analog ultrasonic sensor (±0.002" or
0.05% of range, which ever is greater, at 25°C). The sensor has a built in temperature compensation target, that monitors and compensates for air
temperature 50 times per second. The sensor also compensates for changes in relative humidity,
barometric pressure, and other factors that influence the speed of sound. The RPS-412A is designed to take advantage of today’s PLC
and computer analog input cards. The analog input card will determine the resolution of the system. The numerical values
programmed into the PLC or computer will determine the zero and span.
